This compact battery charger has a brain! Mico-processor technology enables it to read what your battery pack needs and adjust accordingly.
This charger will charge one or two 48V RCD battery packs simultaneously.
Now the charger can stay on the battery pack when charging and starting. No need to remember to plug in the charger again after warming the engine. The computer will sense the high current load of starting the engine and automatically disconnect itself. When the batteries are not being used, it will automatically reconnect and reanalyze the batteries needs and begin charging. This will always keep the batteries in a fully charged state and increase their useful life. The charger will work with all existing RCD 48V and 60V battery packs or any other 24V, 36V, 48V or 60V battery pack (may require an adapter kit). Includes 78" 120V AC input cord and 36" DC output cable.

RCD Engineering developed this 48V DC battery pack for engine starting applications. This compact unit weighs less than fifty pounds and is capable of about twenty starts before recharging.
Plug the battery pack into any 120V AC outlet between races or overnight. An onboard charger automatically adjusts the proper charge rate keeping the battery pack at an optimum rate of charge. Charger automatically turns off when batteries are charged. The 12 volt batteries used in this pack are the latest in encapsulated electrolyte battery technology and are virtually maintenance free. The battery mounting frame and convenient folding handle are CNC machined from billet aluminum. RCD's 60V Battery Pack setup uses an additional 24V pack in conjunction with 2, 48V Battery Packs. This setup provides more amperage to spin the motor.
This pack is available in both a standalone pack or with mounts, as shown for the mounting in a cart.
