Wet Belt Drives |

The RCD Camshaft Belt Drive is designed for Circle Track, Drag Racing and the high performance street market. This drive will dampen power-robbing harmonics and vibration that transfers between the crank and camshaft. These drives fit standard cam height Small Block Chevy V8 and V6, Big Block Chevy V8, Dart and Merlin.
The belt is 1.25" wide with the Gates HTD II YU® tooth profile. This tooth profile fits the sprockets with a much closer tolerance which is a major improvement for drives that experience reversing direction and high load change. The wider belt offers 25% more strength and life than other camshaft belt drives.
The cam sprocket and cam hub are hard anodized 7075-T6 aluminum. The crank sprocket is 4140 H.T. steel. Six 5/16"-24, 12 pt. NAS bolts attach the cam sprocket to the hub and allow 20 degrees of timing adjustment on the cam sprocket. A separate drive bolts to the cam hub with 3/8" or 1/2" hex to drive the oil pump.
