Enclosed Crank Trigger

Complete enclosed Crank Trigger Ignition for MSD programmable DIS or Magneto. Fits RCD Small Block Chevy V8 STD or Tall Cam, Guerte 4-cylinder engines and Summers/Shavers Gear Drives. RCD's Enclosed Crank Trigger permits multiple timing adjustments allowing the right performance for the current conditions. Combine this with an RCD Gear or Belt Drive for the ultimate performance combination.

The aluminum trigger wheel is 5" in diameter with 360 degree marks that make it easy to set the timing accurately. Magnet placement for a V8 with pickups centered, the timing is set at 35 degrees BTDC. Trigger pickups are clamped by an aluminum bracket with + or - 10 degrees of adjustment.

4-prong water pump drive fits a Rotex elastomer spyder to dampen vibration and harmonics that could damage the trigger magnets and water pump. The driven half of the coupler is made of chrome-moly steel and is provided with a 1/2-20 left hand thread to fit a KSE water pump.
