The RCD triangle drive was designed for engines with limited drive options and will attach to any marmon clamp style fuel pump extension. This drive is the least expensive way to drive a magneto, dry sump oil pump and a fuel pump. The triangle drive allows the fuel pump to be mounted five inches lower for better performance.
The RCD triangle drive is constructed of billet 2024 aircraft grade aluminum. This allows the parts to be made lightweight without compromising strength. The drive belt is completely enclosed to keep out debris that can wear out sprockets and belts prematurely. The drive uses an 8mm Gates Poly Chain GT® belt so there is no belt stretch and accurate magneto timing can be maintained at any location.
Any of three drive locations can be used for a magneto, 426 style oil pump or fuel pump by simply changing mounting flanges. All drive locations are coupled with hytrel spiders to help dampen engine harmonics. There are three threaded holes on the back of the drive, if extra bracing is needed.

The Triangle drive comes with everthing you need to drive two magnetos and a fuel pump. Billet clamps are recommended with this drive because of the horizontal mounting style. Clamps are sold separately. 426 style wet or dry sump oil pump adapter is also sold separately. PN: 303500-0001 Triangle Drive Drive adaptors for 426 style dry sump or wet sump oil pump are available.
