RCD starters have been on the starting line since 1967. The starters consist of a series wound DC-Brush type motor attached to a gearhead with a 12:1 reduction ratio, all gearhead pieces are manufactured in house using aircraft quality materials sourced in the USA. When paired with an RCD 48 volt battery pack, you can expect a minimum of 600 rpm of cranking speed on normal blown applications. RCD starters are offered in standard and reverse rotation with several mounting options to get you started and down the track.
